The BH8-CTRLX-230 Controller
Programmable smart-house controller.
The option for external GSM modem for monitoring and control via sms
User-friendly configuration via Windows XP/Vista
Ethernet, USB-port and SD-card for configuration and reading/writing
of the smart-house data
smart house with many options: lighting function, roller blinds, alarm etc.
RS232 connection to external equipment connection/gateways
H8-house for DIN rail mounting (EN50022)
AC - or DC-supply (battery backup)
Intelligent features
smart-house controller is a programmable integrated device,
there are specifically designed for applications in building automation.
The controller has dedicated features for the lighting control, temperature control,
pulldown management and alarm monitoring. In addition, it has smart functions such as sequence control that makes it possible to include a number of functions can be performed automatically, and simulated living quarters, on the basis of the residents ' authentic behaviour control lights and roller blinds while the owner is not home.
Configuration of the smart-house controller
smart-house controller is as default configured without intelligent
the input and output functions for the operation of the modules on the smart-house bus. To make the setup of the intelligent features, the controller is configured by the Windows based smart-house configuration tool. This
the software is free and comes with the controller on a cd-rom. the smart-house configuration tool runs on pcs with Windows ® XP/Vista /windows 7
the smart-house configuration tool ensures full documentation of the smart-house installation. This tool is used to form a logical overview of the building, and in each room it is possible to place the smart-house IOmoduler, which is necessary for the desired features. In order to simplify the operation includes the smart-house configuration tool a database of all
smart-house products. Finally, configure the features in each room using. the installed input/udgangsmoduler. A configuration can be transferred to/from the controller either via Ethernet or using. a standard SD memory card.
Supply led
The green supply led will be lit when there is power on the module.
If the bus is short-circuited, the led will indicate this in two ways:
The brightness becomes weaker in ca. 30 sec.
2. The led and the yellow buslysdiode flashes.
Buslysdiode
When the power is connected, the yellow buslysdiode immediately lyse permanently. There will be 8 V DC at the bus to the charging of the modules supplied by the bus. After indkoblingsforsinkelsen is interrupted the led in each pay on winning banker bets, which causes the permanent lights to blink faintly. The more outputs that are activated on the bus, the more flashing led.
The option GSM-udvidelsesmodulBH4-CTRLAG
smart-house controller can be connected to a GSM extension module,
that makes it possible to monitor and control the smart-house signals via sms messages to/from GSM mobile phones. Sms messages can be used in three different ways:
smart-house controller can be programmed to send out event based sms messages.
The event can be a channel which is activated or deactivated, or it can be an analog signal that exceeds a threshold value.
Requests for status of digital or analog data can be sent and answered via sms messages.
Status of digital channels can be controlled by sending commands via sms messages. In order to be able to use GSMmodulet the following are required:
A SIM card with the pin to be inserted into the hole on the front of BH4-CTRLAG. The SIM card must be of the 3 V-type.
There must be a GSM antenna connected to the FME connector on the BH4 - CTRLAG. If the device is surrounded by metal, the antenna must be installed outside of the etalomgivelserne.
The opportunity for bus expansion module BH4-CTRLAB-230
smart-house controller can be connected with up to three bus expansion modules, which each represent a smart-house network, with the possibility of 4 x 128 inputs and 4 x 128 outputs.
The controller is named BUS 0 and BUS expansion modules BUS 1, 2 and 3. BUS-names are used during configuration of the smart house controller.
